Our Story

 

Danny Bourgeois hails from Moncton, New Brunswick. At the tender age of 5, he picked up his first drumsticks, and he’s been laying down the beat ever-since. Awarded as a  ECMA 2017 musicians achievement award recipient and has more than 30 years of experience, he first started performing in bars at the age of 13, and two years later, he was already becoming an established Studio session drummer. He has played on more than100 albums to date, and backed up a variety of artists, whose styles range from Hard Rock to Country, pop to folk. He's the  proud owner of Pumpk’n Patch Recording Studio and co-owner of Studio LaClasse, in Memramcook, New Brunswick, where he’s Actively working full-time as an accomplished Recording /Mixing Engineer Session Drummer and Producer, for artists throughout Canada.

 

His unquestionable talent has brought him to the world stage on numerous occasions. He has toured with and backed up artists throughout Canada, the United States, and Europe. He has shared the stage with world-renown recording artist Roch Voisine, lead singer from Canadian rock band Helix, Brian Volmer, lead singer from reputable Big Sugar, Gordie Johnson, CCMA award winners Chris Cummings, Shirley Myers and Aaron Prichett,Greg Hanna as well as Tracy Starr, Wilfred Lebouthilier, Lisa Leblanc, Pascal Lejeune,Caroline Savoie Jean-François Breau, Chris Colepaugh and the Cosmic Crew, Garoche ,Lina Boudreau, Angèle Arsenault, Edith Butler and David Ball, among others. He is actively touring with Les Gars du Nord, Dominique Dupuis, Melanie Morgan, with whom he did a 10-week stint on the CBC show “Cover Me Canada”.and many others!! His drumming skills have been showcased in music videos from Chris Cummings , Les Gars du Nord and George Belliveau, as well as on numerous CBC television shows and specials, most notably “Luc et Luc“ , “Musikotrip”, “Clé”. and most recently CBC , ICI Art TV Show
